The power of sport to change lives is receiving a welcome boost thanks to Enva’s new sponsorship arrangement with addiction recovery charity The Carpenter’s Arms.
The agreement sees Enva, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading recycling and resource recovery specialists, signing on as shirt sponsor for the charity’s football team for the season 2025-26.
The team, made up of current and former residents, volunteers and staff members of The Carpenter’s Arms, has received a further boost with the support of Leicester-based Fanatics Supplies. The teamwear supplier, who offered the Enva-sponsored kit at a discounted price, also provided a Captain armband, branded team kit bag, Goalkeeper’s gloves, two footballs and a net bag.
CEO of The Carpenter’s Arms Richard Spence said: “Enva and Fanatics Supplies’ generosity comes at the perfect time for the team as we secured back-to-back promotion last night, this time to Division 1 of the Power Play League.
We’re proud of our League table performance but more than that, how our men tackle playing sports competitively, sober and with respect. The team are thrilled with the new kit and are looking forward to wearing it with pride.”
Enva’s Business Development Manager Ryan Walsh added:
“We’re really excited about the various initiatives underway at The Carpenter’s Arms. Becoming their 2025-26 football shirt sponsor is the latest way in which we can have a positive impact on a truly inspiring group of people. The charity’s Six Hills site is only 15 minutes away from our Recycling Centre in Wesley Street, Leicester and 30 minutes away from our Nottinghamshire facility so we’ll be able to attend the odd game and cheer the lads on to further success.”
The first game of the season will take place on Monday, 16th June 2025 at The Elizabeth Park Sports Centre, Thurmaston. Spectators are very welcome!
